UCM Guest Lecturer to Discuss the Plague and the Reformation

To commemorate the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation, the Department of History, Sociology, Anthropology, and Cross-Disciplinary Studies at the University of Central Missouri will host Kristy Wilson-Bowers, assistant professor of history at the University of Missouri-Columbia, who will present a talk titled "Dancing with Death: Plague and the Reformation" at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24 in Twomey Auditorium.

While agreeing to extend charter school contracts for Scuola Vita Nuova and Gordon Parks Elementary schools in Kansas City, the University of Central Missouri Board of Governors voted Oct. 27 not to renew UCM’s sponsorship for Benjamin Banneker Charter Academy of Technology (BBCAT).
