Performing Arts Series Brings "Greater Tuna" and Its Residents to UCM

Contact: Mike Greife
WARRENSBURG, MO (Feb. 25, 2009) – Reserve your seats now for a laugh-filled visit with the citizens of Tuna, Texas, as UCM's Performing Arts Series presents the hilarious comedy Greater Tuna at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in Hendricks Hall.

Aunt Pearl and Stanley
Aunt Pearl and Stanley are just two of the delightfully eccentric residents of Tuna, Texas, who will visit the Hendricks Hall stage as the Performing Arts Series presents Greater Tuna March 3.

Small Town Life at Its Best

Greater Tuna brings the eclectic citizens of the Lone Star state’s “third-smallest city” to the stage through the talent of two amazing actors who portray all of the characters in the play. Cast and directed by creator Ed Howard, the satire of rural America features the men, women, children, and even the animals of the town where the Lions Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline lives forever.

Get Your Tickets Now!

Tickets for Greater Tuna are available through the Performing Arts Series box office in Administration 100, by calling the box office at 660-543-8888, or online. Tickets also remain available for the April 8 presentation of Souls of Our Feet and the May 1 season finale performance by recording legend BJ Thomas.
