The University of Central Missouri Administrative Building houses offices that include
Human Resources, located on the first floor.
WARRENSBURG, MO – A document that demonstrates the real value of working at the University
of Central Missouri, the personalized Total Rewards Statement, has been sent to all
benefit-eligible faculty and staff members by the Office of Human Resources.
Mailed to each employee’s home address on Oct. 31, this comprehensive statement is
part of Human Resources’ efforts to give UCM faculty and staff an in-depth view of
their compensation and benefits package. It is part of an ongoing effort to help employees
understand the full range of rewards and support they receive as part of their university
employment.
“Helping employees to understand their total rewards is crucial for making informed
decisions about their financial future, health, and work-life balance. It’s a testament
to our commitment to their well-being, financial security, and overall job satisfaction,”
noted Cory Wicker, Ph.D., associate vice president of Human Resources.
The Total Rewards Statement includes components related to core compensation, health
and wellness benefits, retirement benefits, and an overview of accrued vacation, sick
leave, and additional time off. It also provides summaries of other benefits such
as life insurance and disability coverage, and includes a dollar figure representing
the overall value of an employee’s total compensation and benefits.
Total Rewards Statements are among a variety of initiatives launched this fall by
the Office of Human Resources to respond to employees’ interests and needs. Such activities
have included the UCM Benefits Fair and Annual Flu Shot Clinic, Employee Discount
Program, and most recently a visit to campus by the
mobile dental office, Jet Dental.
Individuals who have questions about the Total Rewards Statement can contact Human
Resources at 660-543-4255 or visit the office’s website.
