Innovation Track Expands Degree Completion Opportunities in Lee's Summit, Reduces College Cost for Students

The Innovation Track concept that the University of Central Missouri created to enable high school students to earn up to 30 hours of college credit is being extended to the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District to provide expanded degree completion opportunities in cooperation with Metropolitan Community College – Longview.

While the University of Central Missouri was being formally recognized for its recent accreditation by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP), UCM staff also were invited to join a select group of organization members on a national stage to share details about the university’s success in dual credit.
