Study Shows Public Trusts PBS-Member Stations, Values Impact on Children

From its locally produced programs to engagement with K-12 students and educators across the region, KMOS shares with other PBS-member stations in a #1 rating in public trust among nationally known institutions. The same study scored PBS above the public courts of law, in second place for public trust, touted PBS’s positive impact on the education of the nation’s children, and also confirmed that people consider PBS “an excellent use of tax dollars by the American public.”

Department of Theatre and Dance Welcomes the Upright Citizens Brigade

As part of a High Impact Learning Grant from the University of Central Missouri College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, The Department of Theatre and Dance will host the return of the Upright Citizens Brigade Improv Comedy Touring Troupe to the Nickerson Black Box Theatre for 90-minute show Saturday, March 5.

The Performing Arts Series and the Department of Music at the University of Central Missouri present The World Percussion Group–Directed by Maraca2! at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, in Hendricks Hall. The concert is part of the PAS Guest Artist Series.
