Representative of Missouri’s Fourth Congressional District Vicky Hartzler had an opportunity to meet with students, faculty and staff at the University of Central Missouri on Aug. 23 to learn more about the institution’s role in the agriculture industry and vision in helping to prepare graduates ready to work in this professional field.

UCM School of Nursing Open House Scheduled for Sept. 27
The University of Central Missouri’s School of Nursing will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Missouri Innovation Campus, UCM’s Lee’s Summit campus, 1101 Innovation Parkway. Register by Sept. 9 to attend and learn more about the nursing profession and the recognized programs offered by UCM.

UCM's Electronic Access Project Helps Promote Safe and Healthy Campus
In an effort to promote a healthy and safe community environment, an electronic access project is underway at the University of Central Missouri to enable faculty, staff and students to enter main campus buildings with the use of a key fob or via their cell phones. Work on the project is expected to be completed in approximately one year, although campus members may notice some minor changes in door operations while waiting for the project’s completion.
