WARRENSBURG, MO– KMOS-TV, the University of Central Missouri’s public broadcasting station, will air President
Barack Obama’s State of the Union Address at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12. Coverage of
the address will be provided by the PBS NewsHour team.
In addition, KMOS-TV will air Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon’s State of the State Address
Wednesday, Jan. 20. The broadcast of the entire address and the Republican response
will air beginning at 9 p.m., following the the annual address to the joint session
of the Missouri General Assembly earlier in the evening in the House of Representatives
chamber in the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City.
KMOS-TV’s coverage of the election process begins with the broadcast of Iowa Caucuses: A PBS NewsHour Special Report at 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, followed by New Hampshire Primary: A PBS NewsHour Special Report at 10. p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Coverage continues with the broadcast of PBS NewsHour Democratic Debate, live from Milwaukee, Wis., at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, and Super Tuesday, A PBS NewsHour Special Report at 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 1.
