WARRENSBURG, MO – The University of Central Missouri Gallery of Art and Design will
host the 2016 High Art Contest and Exhibition March 15-31.
The juried exhibition is open to all high school students within a 150-mile radius
of UCM. More than 500 works of art from 19 schools were judged for the competitive
exhibition.
A reception is planned for 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 26, for the students and their
families, friends and teachers. Nearly 200 high school students and their teachers
are scheduled to attend the exhibition and the Department of Art and Design Visit
Day on Friday, April 1. For more information about Visit Day or programs and opportunities

The High School Art Contest and Exhibition is free and open to the public 8 a.m. to
5 p.m., Monday-Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The UCM Gallery of Art and Design, 217 E. Clark, is open to the public, free of charge,
from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
