Case of Honor Recognizes UCM’s Military Service Members, Veterans

By Jeff Murphy, November 8, 2016

WARRENSBURG, MO – The Office of Military and Veteran Services is seeking military service members and veterans consisting of UCM faculty, staff, students and alumni to be featured in the Military and Veteran Services Case of Honor.

Located outside of the Military and Veterans Success Center (MVSC), Elliott Student Union 117, the Case of Honor provides an opportunity for the campus community to learn about the life of a service member or veteran and  experiences gained from active duty to civilian life. Many service members and veterans have traveled the world and have had opportunities that most people will never experience. The Case of Honor provides an eye-opening look at the demands, opportunities and rewards of military service, while also honoring men and women in the military and veterans for their service.

Any UCM member or alumnus who served in the military and is interested in allowing the MVSC to feature them in the Case of Honor is encouraged to download the appropriate form from the Special Events webpage at ucmo.edu/vets/specialevents.cfm, in accordance with their status as a university faculty, staff, student or alumnus, and submit the completed form to Delilah Nichols, coordinator, Military and Veteran Services, via email at nichols@ucmo.edu or fax at 660-543-8044.  Individuals who have questions can call Nichols at 660-543-8977.
