Students participate in a team-building activity during a visit to the Missouri Innovation
Campus by participants in 20/20 Leadership.
The University of Central Missouri (UCM) Lee’s Summit recently hosted approximately
90 high school students involved in 20/20 Leadership during two days of experiential learning opportunities and team-building. The young
people participated in a two-day event April 29-30. Also included was a tour of UCM’s
state-of-the-art Missouri Innovation Campus.
20/20 Leadership is a bi-state youth educational leadership program serving Kansas
City metro area high school freshmen through seniors. The program’s goal is to provide
learning opportunities that expand the students’ education beyond the classroom, develop
resilient leaders and build stronger communities.
The University of Central Missouri has campuses in Warrensburg and Lee’s Summit. The
fully-accredited university offers affordable and flexible education programs including
undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as certificate programs.
