workshop, designed to teach interested individuals how to create unique art prints.
The workshop will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 15, 17,
22 and 24, at the Art Center at UCM’s Warrensburg campus.
Instructors are Janet Bryan and Leesha Dunkeson, and cost (including supplies) is
$50. Space is limited, so enroll soon. The course will focus on techniques of printmaking, concepts of composition and
space and color theory.
Workshop participants will learn to use textural objects as a means of image making
to create richly patterned and layered compositions. The workshop will also include
opportunities to explore incorporating drawing and painting techniques along with
found objects to create experimental, one-off prints.
At the conclusion of the course, students’ artwork will be displayed in the UCM Art
