The University of Central Missouri’s School of Nursing will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Missouri Innovation Campus,
UCM’s Lee’s Summit campus, 1101 Innovation Parkway. Register by Sept. 9 to attend
and learn more about the nursing profession and the recognized programs offered by
UCM.
The UCM School of Nursing provides affordable future-focused academics to prepare
students for a rewarding career in healthcare. Nationally accredited since 1978, the
program is housed at the Lee’s Summit campus.
During the open house, tours of the Missouri Innovation Campus will be offered every
15 minutes. The event will also include information about UCM programs, opportunities
to discuss career opportunities with healthcare professionals, time to meet current
nursing students and faculty as well as light refreshments and door prizes.
UCM School of Nursing includes the following programs: bachelor of science in nursing
(BSN), RN (registered nurse) to BSN, master of science in nursing with two tracks
– family nurse practitioner and nurse educator, and the family nurse practitioner
and nurse educator post master's certificates.
In addition, the University of Central Missouri offers a number of industry-recognized
healthcare certificate programs such as certified nurse assistant (CNA), phlebotomy technician, sterile processing
technician and clinical medical assistant.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes to the event. To participate in the
