Spring/Summer Commencement Schedule
All 2024 Spring and Summer degree candidates are invited to participate in the May Commencement ceremonies being held in the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center (formerly known as the Multipurpose Building) May 3rd and 4th. UCM does not have a Summer commencement ceremony - all summer degree candidates are invited to walk in the May ceremonies.
*Please note that students earning certificates independent of degrees are not recognized
at commencement ceremonies.
This web site contains extensive information about commencement, including a schedule of activities. If you have specific questions or need more information email graduation@ucmo.edu. Please include your full name and 700#.
CEREMONY INFORMATION
- Graduation candidates must check their UCM email accounts often. Important graduation information is sent to degree candidates throughout the semester.
- Your level (undergraduate or graduate), academic college, and/or academic program determines which ceremony you are to attend. If you are unsure which college or school your major/program belongs to, you can find Undergraduate listings here, and Graduate listings here. *Please note, not all teaching programs are in the College of Education.
- All ceremonies will be live-streamed so that additional guests can watch virtually.
Spring 2024 Commencement Program
REGALIA INFORMATION
Regalia pick-up for the Spring 2024 ceremony begins March 11th, 2024. For more information, please contact the UCM Bookstore at 660-543-4370. Bookstore hours can be found here.
Picture I.D. and regalia form* are required. Regalia order forms are found in MyCentral on the "Regalia Order Form" card and are available for print at the bookstore or from any on-campus computer.

UPCOMING COMMENCEMENT DATES & DEADLINES
- March 12, 2024 - Regalia pick-up for the Spring 2024 ceremony begins
- March 22, 2024 - last day to apply for Spring/Summer 2024 graduation to have your name included
in the printed commencement program
- April 5, 2024 - graduation fees posted for Spring (May) 2024 degree/certificate candidates
- April 29-May 3, 2024 - Name card pick up available in the Registrar's Office (Ward Edwards 1000)
- May 3 & 4, 2024 - Spring Commencement ceremonies
- May 31, 2024 - last day to award a Spring 2024 degree/certificate
