After 10 years of piloting aviation classes at Central, Robeson S. (Bob) Moise has retired as professor emeritus of power and transportation.
Prior to his appointment to the university in 1987, Moise was employed as training analyst and civil aviation liaison officer for Saudi Arabia Airlines where he conducted academic and technical training for Saudi Civil Aviation students and managed the programs for airline trainees enrolled in the U.S. schools. Extensively involved in aerospace education, Moise had also held positions with the U.S. Air Force Academy and Air Force Junior R.O.T.C. Program which sharpened his teaching skills in field and flight training.
His membership in professional organizations included the University Aviation Association, American Society for Training and Development, The National Association of Foreign Student Advisors, Toastmasters International and the Air Force Association.
In his retirement, Moise plans to continue his association with Central’s aviation program and continue to teach students the fundamentals of flight.
Moise and his wife Aileen are the parents of three children, Alanna, Glenn, and Sheryl.
