UCM Cybersecurity Team Ranks Nationally in Top 1 Percent of Competitors

Demonstrating the quality of students’ academic preparation and skill in the area of cybersecurity, a team of University of Central Missouri students was recently ranked in the top 1 percent of college and university teams participating in the National Cyber League (NCL) Fall 2021 competition.

UCM Responds to Need With New Master's Degree, Minor in Cybersecurity

To meet a growing need for well-trained professionals who can help secure the nation’s cyberspace from intruders and attackers, the University of Central Missouri continues to create new educational programs in cybersecurity. The latest additions to the university’s growing number of educational opportunities to prepare Missouri’s 21st century technical workforce in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields of national interest were approved by the Board of Governors when it met on campus Dec. 11.
