UCM-Greater KC Writing Project Awarded $2.3 Million to Advance Literacy Skills for Kids and Teens
The Greater Kansas City Writing Project at the University of Central Missouri was awarded over $569,000 for the first year of a five year $2.3 million subgrant as part of a state-wide effort to improve literacy and ultimately the lives of Missouri children.

Displaying skills they plan to employ in the professional world, students in the University of Central Missouri’s Innovative Public Relations program have received an Award of Merit for their entry in the Kansas City International Association of Business Communicators Quill 2020 Awards program.

UCM Recognized by Learn.org Among "Best Online Bachelor's In Law Enforcement" Schools
Demonstrating the quality of its criminal justice program, the University of Central Missouri was not only ranked among the nation’s best but was the only institution in Missouri to recently be included by Learn.org on a list of schools that have the “Best Online Bachelor’s in Law Enforcement.”
