UCM Honors Education Alumni through Awards, Opening of New Legacy Suite
Showcasing the quality of alumni who have earned degrees from the University of Central Missouri College of Education, six individuals who have distinguished themselves as educators at many different levels were honored by their alma mater Oct. 25. Recognition took place as the college celebrated its 100-year anniversary at UCM.

Disaster Simulation Brings Two Academic Disciplines Together for Training
Taking lessons learned from incidents such as the 2013 bombing at the Boston Marathon, a collaborative disaster simulation at the University of Central Missouri this week brought together students and faculty in the Athletic Training and Crisis and Disaster Management programs.

S&P Reaffirms UCM's Long-term A+ Rating on Revenue Bonds, Notes Financial Pressures
For the third consecutive year, the University of Central Missouri is being assigned an “A+” long-term rating by Standard & Poor’s (S&P) Global Ratings to the Missouri Health & Educational Facilities Authority’s series 2013C, 2018A and 2018B educational facilities revenue bonds.
