UCM Awarded Grant to Assist Individuals with Parkinson's Disease

The University of Central Missouri has been named a recipient of the 2019 SPEAK OUT!® & LOUD Crowd® Grant program developed by the Parkinson Voice Project®, the only 501C (3) nonprofit organization in the world solely dedicated to helping people with Parkinson’s disease improve their speech and swallowing.

Burress, King Recognized by American Library Association During National Conference

Rene Burress, a University of Central Missouri faculty member, and Matthew (Matt) King, a graduate student at UCM, were honored by the oldest library association in the world, the American Library Association, during the group’s 2019 national conference, June 20-25 in Washington, D.C.
