UCM Professor Honored with SHAPE America Joy of Effort Award
A University of Central Missouri faculty member whose professional peers have described as a “master educator,” Dennis Docheff, professor in the Department of Nutrition and Kinesiology, is being recognized with the Joy of Effort Award by SHAPE America – Society of Health and Physical Educators.

Nineteen University of Central Missouri faculty members were recently approved for promotion and tenure to associate professor, eight for promotion to professor, and one promotion to associate professor and one for tenure only. Names of these individuals and their achievements at UCM were released this week by Interim Provost-Chief Learning Officer Mike Godard.
