WARRENSBURG, MO – Members of the University of Central Missouri campus and interested
community members are invited to join President Chuck Ambrose for an evening of music
and ice cream during the 2018 President’s Lawn Concert Monday, July 30, at Selmo Park.
This free event begins with an old-fashioned ice cream social at 6 p.m. with service
provided by members of the university campus. It will be followed by a performance
of the Warrensburg Community Band at 7 p.m. The band, which performs annually at the
event, is under the direction of Russell Coleman, professor emeritus of music and
former chair of the Department of Music at UCM.
Limited seating will be available. However, those attending are welcome to bring their
own lawn chairs and blankets.
