Yotabites Co-founder Raj Nair Second Speaker in Big Data and Analytics Series Nov. 16

WARRENSBURG, MO – The University of Central Missouri’s Division of Business Analytics will host Raj Nair, chief executive officer and co-founder of Yotabites Consulting LLC, at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16 in Ward Edwards 2020. Nair will discuss “The Role of Big Data and Analytics in a Digitized World.”

Nair’s remarks conclude the fall two-part Big Data and Analytics series, coordinated by faculty members in the Computer Information Systems and Big Data programs. This program is open to all members of the campus community and any other interested individuals. Pizza, snacks and soda will be provided to those in attendance.

The presentation by Nair will cover a variety of topics related to big data and analytics, the latest trends in industry and associated innovative technologies. His remarks also feature sample cases studies highlighting expectations and opportunities that are useful to a wide audience.

Nair has a distinguished 20-year career in the database software industry.  His work over the years has included helping customers break down data silos and re-invent business value by unlocking the full potential of their data. He believes in the power of community.

In addition to his work with Yotabites Consulting LLC, Nair has served in various leadership roles at IBM and Penton Media, now known as Informa. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Mysore, India, and a master’s degree in engineering and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas.
