UCM's Criminal Justice Courses Expanding to Lee’s Summit Campus Next Fall

University of Central Missouri criminal justice students will have additional course options this fall at the Lee’s Summit campus. The UCM Criminal Justice and Criminology Department is offering three interactive televised courses with students attending courses in Warrensburg or Lee’s Summit.

Through Zoom Video Conferencing, students will be able to listen to and interact with the instructor as well as students at each location, said Dr. Lynn Urban, UCM chair of the School of Public Services. “Technical support is provided at each site, so students do not need any special equipment or technical knowledge to participate in the courses,” she added.

Criminal justice courses offered through video conferencing will be Philosophy and Policy, Legal Aspects and Research Methods. Each class meets from 6 to 8:45 p.m. on one day each week during the fall semester.
