The Career and Life Design Center hosts several opportunities throughout the year
for students to connect with employers in the areas of business, industry, government,
education and healthcare. During the 2022-23 academic year, nearly 525 employers visited
our campus to recruit our students!
Career events are a great opportunity for your students to network with employers
from various industries as well as graduate and professional schools. As UCM faculty
and staff, feel free to also attend these events to learn about employers recruiting
UCM students and the opportunities available.

The UCM Spring 2025 Business and Communication Career Fair is an excellent way to connect with employers looking to hire UCM students for both internship and full-time opportunities. Students are encouraged to attend, regardless of class status. Underclassmen will find this event to be beneficial as it will provide an outlook on the job market as well as a chance to network. Juniors and Seniors can inquire about full-time or internship opportunities.

with UCM's mid-term student-teacher meeting, is open to all education majors. This
event provides a valuable opportunity to engage with professionals, ask questions,
and explore different school districts and their cultures. To prepare for potential
on-the-spot interviews, be sure to bring multiple copies of your resume and dress
professionally.
