Navigate to your Profile by clicking your Name on the left side of Blackboard. Most items in your profile can be edited, once completed be sure to press “Done” at the bottom.
If you are enrolled in a course and it is not showing up as available to you:
Course shells are made available to enrolled students by the faculty on record at the beginning of the semester. Each course is assigned a separate Blackboard shell. To see the Bb courses you are enrolled in follow these steps:
Left-hand navigation: All UCM Blackboard courses are created with default menu items, but your instructor can change the order or name of the navigation menu items. Below are the default course menu items:
Every section where you can create content within Blackboard has a Text Box Editor toolbar. This is where you can type and format your content using common options (underline, bold, italics, etc.) or import various types of media (image/photo, video, PDF, etc.). If you cannot see all rows of the various buttons as depicted below, just click the three dot button in the upper right of the toolbar to expand the toolbar button set. Note: Your toolbar may be arranged slightly differently based on the width of your display. See a detailed description of each tool below:
To determine accessibility accommodations contact the Office of Accessibility Services by visiting their website or calling 660-543-4421. If OAS determines that you are eligible for academic accommodations, your instructors will automatically receive a Letter of Accommodation that lists what accommodations you are eligible for in each class. Instructors must adhere to these accommodations and cannot ask you for any information regarding your disability.
