UCM Students, Employees Updated on Winter Weather Procedures
The University of Central Missouri is entering the time of year when weather can change quickly in this region. For those students and employees who may be new to campus, and as a reminder to others, the university asks you to be aware of winter weather procedures. Your safety is the university's number one priority.

Award-Winning Author's Work Brought to Big Screen at the University of Central Missouri
Award-winning fiction writer Alexander Weinstein will host a screening of the film After Yang at 6 p.m. Nov. 2, in the University of Central Missouri’s Elliot Student Union Auditorium, 511 S. Holden St., in Warrensburg. At 5 p.m., UCM will host Weinstein for an author talk, book signing and reception in the Union Atrium. The event is free and open to the public.

University of Central Missouri Digital Media Production Student Receives National Recognition for Work at KMOS PBS
KMOS-TV, the PBS station licensed to the University of Central Missouri, recently received four Telly Awards honoring excellence in local television programming. One of these awards was presented to KMOS student producer Leilani Craig who competed against established producers in professional categories with her production of “K-Pop Rising: Kansas City Arirang Festival 2022.”
