Apply for funding

The Office of Student Activities offers two forms of funding available to student organizations operational budget and Student Funding Committee (SFC) funding:

Operational Budget: Each semester student organizations can sign up for operational budget which can be used for office supplies in Union 217 as well as purchases from the bookstore and Walmart. Amounts vary each semester depending on the amount of groups requesting operational budget.

SFC Funding: SFC board meets twice a year (fall/spring) to allocate funding for the following semester to student organizations to offset the costs of traveling for professional development and programming to improve the social, cultural, recreational, and educational offerings to the students and the rest of the University community.

Student Organization Mailbox

The Office of Student Activities offers mailboxes for free to student organizations. If your organization is interested in having a mailbox the president or advisor can stop by Union 217 to sign up.

Every registered student organization is required to have an up to date constitution. The constitution must be posted in MyCentral.

Students may now schedule an event online!

When scheduling your room reservation online, remember to read through the Meeting and Conference Services general student event policies to ensure the best possible outcome for your event. Next, please review the full list and descriptions of Meeting and Conference Services waivers, forms, and policies for instances such as selling items on campus (including food), renting hall tables, requesting technology support and more.

In the Fall of 2014 we have enabled everyone at UCM to have access to 25 Live our web-based room scheduling system. This allows anyone with a UCM network id to view room availability, location features, and request to use spaces on campus for events. The system is very user friendly, and we also offer training up to four days a week.

Please note you are issued your log-in credentials when you attend the "25 Live Event Request Training". You must attend training to receive your credentials. Effective November 1st all users must request spaces through 25Live.

Sodexo Catering

The University of Central Missouri partners with Sodexo Catering for all campus dining and catering needs. No outside food or beverages will be permitted to be brought on to campus.


Involvement fair

The involvement fair takes place each fall in the union as part of the Welcome Week activities. Student organizations can sign up to have a table at the involvement fair where they can talk to students about their organization.

Mule Haul

Members of the Mule Haul Team assist new students on move-in day. This is a great opportunity to show your CENTRAL spirit for new students and their families. You can either sign up as an individual or as a student organization.  This is a wonderful way to meet the incoming students and to receive community service hours.


•Welcome new students, parents, and guests to UCM.
•Direct students to Residence Hall check-in areas.
•Assist in unloading vehicles.
•Serve as a resource person.
