You dream about what going to college in America will be like. At UCM, you’ll have the resources and community support to live your dreams and redefine what’s possible. Typically, your classes will have fewer than 20 students, so you’ll have opportunities to engage with caring, experienced professors in a meaningful way. These faculty interactions, along with UCM’s top facilities, labs and classrooms, have earned the university more than 300 top rankings for excellence in affordability and quality of instruction. We are consistently ranked as a top university by U.S. News & World Report and The Princeton Review and were named one of America’s Top Colleges by Forbes Magazine.
Employers know quality when they see it – they seek out UCM’s career-ready students because of their real-world preparedness and passion. Nearby Kansas City, with its abundance of technology, healthcare, logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, animal science and financial employers, is a magnet for UCM graduates, and our network of 100,000+ alumni spans the country and the globe.

The international admissions process varies depending on your student type and whether you are pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree. In general, students pursuing a bachelor’s degree are classified as undergraduates. Those pursuing a master’s, education specialist or doctoral degree are classified as graduate students.
When your materials are received, the International Student Services (ISS) office will conduct an initial evaluation. If your application meets the requirements
for admissions, your application will be forwarded to the department you designate
for consideration and recommendation. The department will then determine whether or
not to accept you into the program. Once the department has decided, you will receive
notification regarding your acceptance into a degree program.
